Free!!! Blessed by NetGhod Kibo!!!! (Sanity not included) Mike Jittlov’s super-compact maxi-myopic multilingual font - now read everything in PowerBook windows without scrolling! Complete plaintext, plus italic, And I still hope to complete this for Xmas Freeware distribution (1996)(…riiiiight). I’m still deciding on how to arrange the extras - by keyboard row, by easiest combinations for most-used, or by PopChar selection - and do that for all the other fonts (now largely unsorted collections-in-progress). Jittlov ScreenFont will have its conflicting pictures and characters at #1-31 changed/removed, and the pix at#229-255 moved/removed to allow a large set of zero-width upper and lowercase accents (advice welcomed on what to keep, add, delete). They work only with the present font set, everything will be changed. ![]() The following is all temp/beta! The ReadMe’s are in mid-edit, with self-reminders and a few experiments in art/design. As the original files only worked on Mac OS 9, Frank Nora at The Overnightscape Underground screengrabbed the whole bunch and assembled it into one huge PNG file (628 x 23652 pixels). ![]() The font file (which allegedly crashes any Mac you try to install it on now) came with its own epic six-part ReadMe file, entirely composed using the font. In 1996, Mike created his own superfont for Mac computers, unsurprisingly named “Jittlov”.
